Charitable deductions to be kept by 19 major nonprofits lobby
This is an article explaining that there are people out there that are concerned that the charitable deductions part of your tax forms may be in jeopardy. The concern is that donations to various charities would diminish considerably if this were to happen. Recent talk in Congress and by the current administration, indicates that the charitable donations tax deduction may be capped at 28 percent. This is to help pay for other government programs (e.g. the American Jobs Act).
