SUMMARY

Increase our success in current and prospective enterprises. As the Enterprise Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for all commercial activities that advance Pioneer’s bottom line and mission, while examining our current enterprises for commercial improvement.

PRIMARY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Execute a comprehensive sales and customer service strategy to ensure business goals are adequately forecasted and exceeded. Establish and maintain on-going client relations with various parties to anticipate and resolve potential problems. Responsible for Customer Relationship Management (CRM) Discipline - Visit Reports.

Create a formal marketing plan using economic forecasting, strategy development and taking into account technological changes as well as leveraging current business strengths. Work to fill any gaps in technical knowledge to gain a deep understanding of current and potential manufacturing processes.

Develop partnerships and interpret the intricacies of new business/customer acquisition. Consistently generate new leads via networking, cold calling, social media and industry conferences.

Conduct and communicate market analysis techniques to determine and shape competitive edge within all current and future enterprises.

Coordinate with Operations, Engineering and Procurement to assure engineering and programming are developed to meet customer specifications and on-time delivery expectations.

Lead operational, contracts, and purchase order review for New Product Introduction (NPI) for assigned customers to achieve cost targets and schedule attainment.

Responsible for major contract negotiation and administration. Negotiating and closing complex deals in cooperation with Estimating Dept.

Responsible for assessing and strengthening RFP and estimating methodologies, as necessary.

Performs other duties as required.

QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE POSITION

(Any Equivalent Combination of Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, Education, and Experience)

Preferred: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, economics, strategic management, technology, management, or business development (other degrees may be considered).

Prior successful sales experience coupled with strong contract creation and negotiation skills.

Aerospace experience in sales, operations or engineering required.

Minimum of 5 years’ industry experience (5 years of experience preferred).

Innovative self-starter, experienced in targeting mid to large-sized opportunities with the primary goal of obtaining and closing new opportunities.

Must be comfortable securing meetings and presenting to senior management prospects in the areas of procurement, operations, finance and engineering.

Must be able to think strategically and work within a lengthy sales cycle while remaining task and goal-oriented.

The candidate must be comfortable working both in a team environment and working independently.

Must possess a valid driver license and be insurable, meeting company approved driver requirements.

Approximately 35% travel required within the U.S. Small amount of international travel.

Compelling communication and presentation skills (written and verbal), including the ability to present to and influence large groups. Proficient in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.

Leading cross-functional teams toward driving results and aligning against deliverables stemming from partnerships.

Creative, resourceful, detail-oriented, organized independent thinker.

Strong analytical and problem solving skills.

Pioneer contributes 4.5% of employees' annual salaries into retirement plans. An additional 3.5% match is offered to those who contribute 6% of their own salary.

Full-time employees accrue between 8-9 days of sick pay annually, as well as 10 days of vacation their first year and 15 days their second.

Other benefits include participation in the Life Assistance Program and public transportation reimbursement of $25 per month.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

Office environment as well as visiting customer manufacturing facilities and touring through PHS manufacturing facilities with prospective or current customers.
