Job Description:
Major Responsibilities:
Respond to L1 support issues, pursuing diagnosis of the root cause of an issue Analysis will include: Review of Informatica Mappings to understand logic and expected flow
Review of Data layers via sql to analyze patterns of data, review reference data
Review of variety of log files
Review of audit reports
Research solution architecture in Configuration Management Database (CMDB)
Reach out to users to understand and document Problem Statement
Track/Document research activities, analysis pathways
Re-produce and/or test analysis on non-production environments
Pro-actively reach out to L3 SME's to discuss observations, review analysis, etc.
Lead Incident Management calls on behalf of EDS team
Change Management Analysis Participate in system design, modeling, and solution design reviews as changes are nearing completions
Assure CMDB changes, and SOP Changes are incorporate with Changes
Incident and Problem Management tracking Assure all L2 incidents are fully documented and reportable
For all major incidents, complete and publish an after-action report with root cause and contributing cause information
Track Problems and coordinate changes to address problems into Development cycles
Stay current on technologies, technology trends and directions, and best practices. Evaluate potential technologies for use within the enterprise.
Skills and Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, MIS or related field or Completion of qualified Programming or Data Bootcamp
At least 1 year of cumulative work experience in a technology and/or data analysis role
At least 3 years of cumulative overall employment or volunteer experience
Demonstrate experience partnering with business users to gather requirements and envision full-stack capabilities
Demonstrated development success at all stack levels and ability to understand varied full-stack architectures and implementations
Ability to professionally facilitate meetings and track action items
Understanding of SaaS and off-premise integration architectures
Strong written communicator, with demonstrated excellence in concise and clear and written communication at all organizational levels.
Strong math acumen, demonstrated competence with logic, statistics, data analysis
Ability to resolve conflicts and foster collaboration
Strong verbal communicator, as demonstrated by ability to understand, synthesize, and communicate complex details and high level concepts
Collaborative servant leader, as demonstrated by at least two years recent and successful experience in a team, committee, volunteer or association leadership role
Ability to work independently as well as in a diverse geographically dispersed team
Highest level of written and oral communication for information sharing and transparency
Exceptional data discovery and analytical skills as demonstrated by one or more material data research experiences
Self-starter and ability to deal with ambiguous situations as demonstrated by at least two years recent and successful experience in a self-managed role, where the schedule is open, and the approach to the work is self-planned
Diverse background, experiences and engagement in transactional settings, across multiple industries, locations, including ability to speak more than one language preferred, especially exposure to romance languages and Asian languages, work with a large multinational firm, especially outside the US.
