Responsibilities
Performs strategic duties related to implementing enterprise-level risk management.
Assist HHS operational divisions with increasing the level of integrated risk and decision analysis capability and capacity to support enterprise-level risk management throughout HHS and its divisions.
Responsible for staying current on the stare of technical advances in enterprise-level risk management in the public sector, private sector and academia, and identifying quantitative and qualitative risk analysis tools.

Qualifications
Applicants must demonstrate that they meet the Basic AND Specialized Experience requirements as noted below.
Basic Requirement:
You must meet one of the item listed below ( A or B):
A. Possess a Bachelor's degree in operations research;(Must provide transcripts) OR
B. Possess at least 24 semester hours in a combination of operations research, mathematics, probability, statistics, mathematical logic, science, or subject-matter courses requiring substantial competence in college-level mathematics or statistics. At least 3 of the 24 semester hours must have been in calculus. (Must provide transcripts)
AND
Specialized Experience:
GS-14 :
You must possess at least one year of specialized experience equivalent in difficulty and responsibility to the GS-13 level in the Federal service that includes the following:
Developing enterprise-scope analyses;
Researching quantitative and qualitative integrated/enterprise-scope risk assessment techniques; and
Developing new and improved analysis tools, methods, or guidelines.
Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through national Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; community; student; social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates directly to gain employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. If such experience is on a part-time basis, you must provide the average number of hours worked per week as well as the beginning and ending dates of the experience so it can be fully credited.
