Center for Public Health (CPH)
The Center for Public Health (CPH) is a part of the **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***., a non-profit, nonpartisan think tank determined to increase global prosperity by advancing collaborative solutions that widen access to capital, create jobs, and improve health. CPH focuses in four areas of public health: (1) food, nutrition, and sustainability, (2) chronic disease prevention and treatment, (3) mental health and wellness, and (4) health emergencies and preparedness. CPH promotes understanding of leading public health issues such as the opioid epidemic, the changing food system, and rising rates of obesity and diabetes and develops innovative, market-based solutions. More specifically, we do this through independent, data-driven research, action-oriented meetings, and meaningful programs and policy work.
About the Position
The **MEMBERS ONLY**SIGN UP NOW***.’s Center for Public Health is seeking a Director for Community Health and Social Determinants. The Center is seeking a candidate with strong intellectual and emotional curiosity, extraordinary work ethic and drive to improve health outcomes. This is an opportunity to become a key player in an entrepreneurial, growing and dynamic global organization involved in some of the most important global public and population health issues.

Employing the tools of research, convening, programmatic work and collaborating with leaders from finance, industry, public policy, philanthropy and the social sector, the Institute works toward practical and actionable solutions to cure disease, create jobs, spread opportunity, spur economic development and implement energy and environmental practices that promote sustainability.
Position Summary
This position will report to the Executive Director, while working closely with colleagues in the Center and members from the Research, Events, Development and Communications/Government teams. The candidate will provide strategic direction and engagement with Community Health Workers, Caregivers, Mayors, Religious Leaders and related organizations to improve individual and community health.
In addition, the candidate will develop tactical plans and initiatives, collaborating with others, and executing those plans to solve local health issues and embrace healthy living. The candidate will build a pilot initiative to identify best practices, collect the data from these pilots and share this information with federal, state and local governments to support legislative and regulatory policy changes necessary to improve health outcomes.
Also, the candidate will be responsible for staffing panels and events which are part of the Global Conference, the Health Summit, and other conferences and briefings. The ongoing efforts with the development team will help grow the financial support for the work of the Institute and the Center for Public Health.
