This position is responsible for identifying a national, long term strategic direction for recruitment optimization in a low cost producer environment. It is also responsible for short term optimization of the investment in and output of the recruitment front end to meet annual and monthly blood unit goals. Provides the analysis and recommendations that will feed a system-wide, overarching multi-year recruitment strategy and fiscal year plan. Reports to the Biomed VP of Recruitment Process Excellence.
Looks long term to identify opportunities and new distribution and process constructs that will support strategic objectives.
Identifies potential options, asks what if questions, works with Marketing Analytics and Finance to provide potential scenarios and business cases.
Monitors and analyzes ongoing short term production to identify misalignment of resources along the recruitment/collections supply chain and highlight resource/distribution and marketing channel tradeoffs that can boost overall results while decreasing costs.
Proactively identifies current and upcoming areas of weakness (e.g. geographically, by job function, by day of week) and offers quantitatively-backed counteractive tactics for leadership consideration.
Summarizes areas of concern for the Execution Team to address.
Provides insights and recommendations that will avoid shortages; offer recommendations for maximum impact during shortages.
Ensures the execution of a consistent FY planning process nationwide.
Define and oversee acquisition planning processes that incorporate the use of statistical data and methods that assure accurate and predictable blood drive unit outcomes.
Monitors achievement against plan.
Performs continuous improvement in our forecasting models and methodologies.
Supports initiatives, pilots associated with Reimagining Recruitment initiative.
Works with Direct to Donor to ensure the marketing calendar is optimized.
Interfaces with Product Management to understand upcoming plans and needs that Recruitment must fulfill.
Manages at least one Planner.
Education: 4-year college degree or equivalent combination of education and experience in Business, finance, management or other related major
Experience: Minimum 7 to 10 years required
Management Experience: Minimum 3 to 5 years of staff management required
